Not like the other professions, enchanting doesn’t need a gathering profession to provide the materials it needs for leveling. However to collect the materials needed, enchanters, disenchant or disassemble certain items like armors and weapons to produce the reagents for enchantment. Reagents include dusts, essences, crystals and shards.
Enchanting Leveling Guide: Leveling the Profession
Just like with the other profession, you need to use the skill to level up your enchanting skill. You will start as an Apprentice in enchanting until you reach level 75, after that you will become a Journeyman until level 155. From there until level 230 you are an Expert enchanter. At level 230 until 300 you are an Artisan enchanter.
You will become a Master enchanter when the skill level of your profession is level 230 until 300. Upon reaching level 375 to 455 the enchanting skill proficiency is Grand Master and lastly would be the Illustrious proficiency at level 455 until 525. Make sure to return back to your trainer to get the necessary skill as soon as you reach a level cap.
Enchanting Leveling Guide: Leveling Progress
You will start your as an Apprentice in enchanting. You are able to enchant Runed Copper Rod and Bracers with Minor health, keep on enchanting those items until you reach a level cap. At Apprentice proficiency it is very cheap, so enjoy it while it lasts.
As a Journeyman just keep on enchant Bracers with minor deflection, stamina or agility. Keep on enchanting bracers until you are able to enchant Runed Silver Roda and Cloaks with minor agility boost. This way you can optimize the experience gained each time you enchant.
An Expert in enchanting can enchant Bracers with lesser strength, spirit or strength boost. This would provide a significant amount of experience for you to level your skill proficiency. Do this until you can enchant Runed Golden Rod or Runed Truesilver Rod with greater defense boost.
As an Artisan in enchanting you are now able to enchant Chest with superior health boost and enchant bracers with greater intellect boost to gain experience. Keep on enchanting these items so that you can hasten the leveling process. Make sure to collect the necessary items first so that the time will be used to prioritize enchanting.
As a Master enchanter, you must enchant chests with restore mana prime, major spirit or exceptional mana boost to gain experience needed to level up. Enchant these items as soon as you are able to Enchant Bracers with striking boost.
Grand Master in enchanting becomes even more expensive, you will need a lot of gold at this point to level your enchanting skills. At this proficiency level you must enchant Runed Eternium Rods and Runed Titanium Rods with greater potency boost until you can enchant Cloaks with greater spell piercing boost.
Being an Illustrious Enchanter shows the optimum capabilities of enchanting that is why it is a must for any enchanter to reach this level as soon as possible. At this point you must enchant Gloves with haste, exceptional strength or greater expertise boost until you can enchant Runed Elementium Rods.
